We have been extremely busy here what with shearing the sheep and Davids new business. The kids are on holiday for the summer now too, so things are a bit hectic.
David has a friend working for him at the moment, so when they finish for the night, I have to have tea ready for them. We are not normally big eaters and most of the time I would feed the kids and not bother with anything for myself, but these past few weeks, we have all been eating together and I have been trying to come up with different things to make so we don't get bored with the same thing over and over.
I think I am becoming a better cook for it though. Over the past 7 days we have had things like Chili Con Carne, Chicken and Vegetable Curry, Omlettes, Shepherds Pie, (mince and tatties) and tonight I am going to try and make Toad in the Hole. Wish me luck!
I have also been trying to build my stock for the craft fairs this year, although I am not sure if I will be able to do them or not due to the lack of a second car.
