We are going through a lot of changes here at home at the moment. My oldest daughter has finished school and will be going to University after the holidays. I am not sure how I feel about her moving out and living in halls. She has also recently gotten her first job working in a bakers in Aberdeen. She has to get up at 6 am on a Saturday, so that David can drive her the 35 miles to be at work for 7am. This will be better once she is living in halls in Aberdeen.
Our youngest daughter will be going into the "big class" after the holidays, so she will be home at 3.30 instead of 2.45. The school she goes to only has 15 pupils and they are divided into two classes.
David made a decision that although his main industry is hydraulics and power packs for offshore, he put an advert in our local paper to see if he could get some jobs to use the mini plant that we have collected over the years. Things like the mini tractor with plow, mower, bailer, etc.
Since putting the ad in the paper, he hasn't stopped! He has been out every day for the past 3 weeks and more jobs come in every day!
He even has someone working for him!
After taking so long to get used to David being home all day, I am missing him more now that he is out every day.
